Project 7 was proposed by Professors Márcio Leitão and Marcus Maia with the objective of promoting the integration of researchers from Brazil and other Latin American countries with interest in Experimental Psycholinguistics, who develop research in the following topics: Language Processing, Language Processing and Acquisition, Language Processing and Disorders, Psycholinguistics and Education, Language Processing and Neuroscience, and Bilingual Processing. After four years of existence, under the coordination of Márcio Leitão and Elena Ortiz-Preuss, Project 7 continues to seek to broaden discussions on psycholinguistics in ALFAL and to foster South-South partnerships that are still so rare compared to existing collaborations with the United States and Europe. Project 7's program at the XX ALFAL International Congress included activities on all days of the event and gave visibility to research groups and laboratories from different countries. E 9 The discussions at the event were extremely rich and motivated by the presentation of 22 papers by researchers from Brazil, Chile, the United States, Portugal and Venezuela, covering the different topics mentioned above. From this perspective, this volume contains some of the papers presented at the event and shows the diversity of research carried out in the field of psycholinguistics and interfaces in different institutions.
